Imperfect by Design

Engage, collaborate and innovate is projected on a wall

The Bartlett’s participatory showcase event celebrating community engagement

Over 80 staff and students from across the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment gathered for a participatory event celebrating public and community engagement within the faculty. Entitled Imperfect by Design, the event sort to explore the reality that engagement work is often a messy process that requires energy and persistence, in often ‘imperfect’ scenarios, but that ultimately provides invaluable insights and learnings for all parties. Professor Jacqui Glass, Vice Dean of Research gave her thoughts on the importance of engagement work, whilst Dean of The Bartlett Professor Christoph Linder was one of the speakers alongside others discussing what ‘imperfection’ means to them.

The event was designed by Dr Gemma Moore, Faculty Impact Lead and Tadhg Caffrey, Impact Manager.
